Plans

To date we have released three issues of Lightning and are well on our way to completing our first volume (issues 1-5). Right now we are looking down the road to the Summer of 2005. For our personal futures we may find ourselves in different parts of the country or even the world, but I hope that this newsletter will continue to inform and motivate our rapidly growing reader base. We have decided that no matter what, we will make it work for our first five issues then, in the summer of 2005, step back and evaluate our position and decide what course we will take from there.

Currently we are seeking to expand our reader base and adding more and more to the newsletter. Our scope is becoming inadvertently expanded as we see issues that deeply affect humankind as a whole, including genocide, disease, and unstable political, social, and health conditions. We are obligated to inform you, our readers, of the human condition across the world. In the end these issues will affect us all, and in many ways I am saddened that the conditions in some parts of the world are not well covered by the mainstream media as other stories that are comparatively far less important.

As we seek to inform and motivate and you continue your concern for humankind and the world as a whole, Lightning will continue to grow in size and scope until we have developed a truly excellent publication.
