The News Hour index for Africa includes the recent stories on Sudan: http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/africa/africa.html
This is an excellent resource. The News Hour was the show that first turned me on to the story and they not only cover the current developments in the region but they have advanced discussions that lend excellent incite.

P.O.V. Produced a film following two Sudanese boys who made their way to the United States, the extras for the film include personal stories and interviews with experts.

P.O.V. or Point of View, made a film titled The Lost Boys of Sudan. Even before the current Darfur crisis civil war displaced a myriad of young boys and after years in camps a few made it to America for a second chance. The story follows two boys as they struggle with the new culture and the old wounds.

An excellent resource, the best option is to search "Sudan" or "Darfur." While you are charged for transcripts you can listen to the audio clips off-line with real player or windows media player. You can download both from the site.
